More About Port Stephens Women in Business

Since 2009, Port Stephens Women in Business (PSWIB) has been a thriving community of like-minded businesswomen who uplift and empower each other throughout the Port Stephens region. With a robust membership of over 65 dedicated professionals, our primary goal is to provide a supportive environment where women can connect, network, and foster meaningful friendships.

Our regular events take place at diverse venues across Port Stephens, offering a dynamic and engaging atmosphere. At PSWIB, we take pride in cultivating an environment that encourages sharing, warmth, and a sense of enjoyment.

Our commitment to delivering exceptional value extends beyond our events. We strive to go the extra mile in supporting both our members and first-time guests, assisting them in achieving growth and success in their professional and personal lives.

President, Aimee Parkinson

With over two decades of hands-on experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, Aimee Parkinson is a powerhouse in the Port Stephens business community. Aimee’s journey has been anything but ordinary—from managing large-scale holiday resorts to founding multiple successful businesses that celebrate connection, celebration, and coastal living.

Today, she is the proud owner and creative mind behind Aimee’s at Anna Bay—Port Stephens’ leading group accommodation venue—and Port Stephens Luxury Picnics & Proposals, which offers boutique wedding coordination, pop-up beach picnics, and proposal styling that’s as breathtaking as the backdrop itself.

Aimee’s businesses are deeply rooted in her love for Port Stephens. The region’s coastal charm, strong community spirit, and natural beauty are more than just inspiration—they’re the heartbeat of everything she creates. Her work has helped bring thousands of visitors to the area, shining a spotlight on local tourism and supporting countless small businesses through collaboration and community-minded events.

But Aimee’s contribution doesn’t stop with business. As President of Port Stephens Women in Business, she actively mentors, supports, and uplifts other women on their entrepreneurial journeys. She’s a firm believer in sharing the wins, the lessons, and the real, raw moments that come with running a business while juggling life, motherhood, and everything in between.

“You can build your own empire one imperfect day at a time. Just keep showing up—be kind, be bold, and back yourself. Because no one else can do it the way you do, and that’s your superpower.” – Aimee Parkinson

Whether she’s coordinating a beachside wedding, mentoring a fellow business owner, or wrangling her three boys with her husband Brett by her side, Aimee leads with heart, hustle, and an unshakable belief in what’s possible.
